Math Tutoring and Assessment (OASIS)

Tutoring is offered daily to assist students individuallyor in small groups who need help on the Accuplacer, withmathematics courses, or mathematics topics in another discipline. It is located in Adams Library, Level 1.

Writing Center

The Writing Center offers an informal, comfortable space in whichstudent writers can talk about their writing concerns withtutors who are willing to listen, share, and respond. It is located in Adams Library, Level 1.

Project ​ExCEL

Project ExCEL is an academic support program for bilingual students and English Language Learners at RIC. Bilingual students in any major and in any year at RIC are welcome to join the multilingual, ExCEL community. In ExCEL, students receive one on one tutoring, weekly check-ins, help with class assignments and are connected with other high-achieving multilingual students at RIC. The Project ExCEL office is located in Roberts Hall, Suite 303.

Behavioral Engagement Team

The Disability Services Center is the central location on campus for disability-related services for students.  It’s located in Fogarty Life Sciences, Room 137.

Health Services provides confidential and holistic primary health care to enhance the academic potential of our students. User Support Services

User Support Services provides a primary point ofcontact for students needing support with hardware orsoftware problems. It’s located in the Horace Mann Tech Ctr.

Unity Center

The Unity Center is the Rhode Island College multicultural center. Its mission is to promote the accessibility of educational services and the opportunity for excellence to all students.  It is located in the Donovan Dining Center Lower Level.

The Veterans Resource Center is a clearinghouse for information on a wide range of programs and services available to veterans.  It is located Bldg. #5, Lower Level, East Campus.

Financial Aid Office

The Office of Student Financial Aid is to assist students and their families in funding educational costs at Rhode Island College. They are committed to removing financial barriers that would otherwise prevent students from achieving their educational goals. 

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority operates bus service to and from the Rhode Island College campus.
