BANNISTER GALLERY

Exhibitions

The majority of exhibits presented are in the service of the goals of the department of Art in exposing its students to exemplary art works and artists who are currently engaged in the 'art world' of semiotics, critical theory and the economics of the practice. As a teaching facility, it is the 'lab' or stage upon or within which contemporary visual art, and its related conceptual underpinnings - is examined, experimented with, and explicated.
