Registration for New Non-degree Students

Do you want to register for a course at Rhode Island College?

New non-degree students may register for Fall 2021 on August 19, 2021. *All registration is done online.

  • If you have never attended Rhode Island College, you will need to create an account to obtain a username, password, and appointment time in order to register for classes. Create your account here.
  • If you have taken Rhode Island College courses previously (but no longer have your username and password), you won’t need to create a new account, but will need to call the Records Office at 401-456-8213 to be reactivated.

What courses are being offered this spring and how do I learn more about registration?
The Records Office webpage on registration (http://www.ric.edu/recordsoffice​/pages/registration.aspx) has very useful information including the Fall 2021 course bulletin. You may also call the Records Office at (401) 456-8213 with questions regarding general registration issues.

Need to know how credits taken elsewhere will transfer to Rhode Island College?
Those interested in how their credits will transfer to RIC may view a list of prior approved courses and build a credit evaluation using RIC’s Transfer Evaluation System (TES). Students transferring from CCRI or URI are advised to visit the state transfer website, RITransfers.org, for more information regarding transfer within the RI state system.
