Nicholas Cerbo

Nick is a fourth-year doctoral clinical psychology student at William James College. He is a part-time extern at the counseling center with aspirations of working with individuals from all backgrounds in his future career. Nick has experience working with children, adults suffering with substance use and severe mental illness in a partial hospital program, along with working in a community health center with clients across the lifespan. Nick has particular interests in helping individuals make meaning of their suffering, developing coping skills, and assisting individuals to find purpose for their lives. Nick believes in an integrative approach to clinical work that is person-centered. He views the therapeutic relationship as the most important aspect to clinical work and works collaboratively with individuals to find the best treatment approach for them. In his spare time, you can find him playing basketball, journaling, and enjoying time with his family.​​​
