A $200 enrollment deposit is required to reserve your spot as a transfer student to Rhode Island College. Online is the preferred payment method, however you can also submit your deposit by mailing a check to the Bursar Office. Visit our Main Accepted Student page for instructions on how to pay your deposit.
Enrollment deposits are non-refundable.
Don’t miss out if you want to live on campus. There is housing available for new transfer students. Once you have paid your enrollment deposit, you can also pay your housing deposit. For more information on how to apply for housing, visit the Office of Residential Life and Housing.
All new transfers are required to attend orientation. Orientation is your introduction to academic and social life as a new student at Rhode Island College. You will meet with advisors, review your transcript evaluation, learn about student services and campus life, get your student ID, and register for fall classes. You will be receiving further information about registering online for orientation from the Office of New Student Programs. For more information visit the New Student Orientation page.
If you are currently enrolled in college courses, please arrange to have an official final transcript sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions prior to the start of classes. A student copy cannot be accepted. AP and CLEP test scores can also be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Health forms are included in your enrollment & welcome packet. Forms must be completed and returned to Health Services before the start of fall classes. For more information or copies of forms, visit RIC’s Health Services page.
View the RIC Academic Calendar for information on class start dates.
