Judy Murphy was selected for the Interprofessional Fellowship Program in Clinical Simulation by the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) and the Simulation Learning, Education, and Research Network (SimLEARN) of the VHA Employee Education System, January 2014.

Patricia Quigley, as President of Delta Upsilon Chapter-at-Large, received the Chapter Key Award from Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Indianapolis, IN, November 2013.

Patricia Quigley selected as PI for RIC SON site as participant in the pilot study: Assessment of genomic literacy among BSN students in the United States. Linda Ward, PhD, ARNP, Washington State University College of Nursing, selected 15, from 40, applicants across the country. The RIC SON pilot study was completed in May 2014.

Patricia Quigley was one of 15 nurse educators, identified as having broad and deep experience in genetics/genomics nursing education, selected to participate in a three-round Delphi study to evaluate a scale to measure genetic and genomic literacy among nurses. The scale is the Genomic Nursing Content Inventory. The third round of the Delphi study was completed in September 2014.

Sylvia Ross received 2nd place in the doctoral student poster presentation at the 26th Annual Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) Scientific Sessions, Philadelphia, PA, April 2014.

Debra Servello accepted into the Edmund Safra Foundation Visiting Nurse Faculty Program for the summer of 2014.
