MIRIC 2020 Trumpet Workshop

June 29 – July 2
Tuition: $450
Enrollment limit: 16 students

RIC Professor of Trumpet, Joseph Foley, will host a 4-day trumpet workshop. Classes will focus on the fundamentals of playing, as well as, repertoire preparation.

Daily sessions will run from 10-2:30, with a break for lunch at the Donovan Dining Center from 12 - 1.

The workshop participants are not required to submit audition materials. However, to receive the best experience of the program, the students are expected to be able to demonstrate proficiency in trumpet.

Lunch will NOT be provided. You may bring your own or purchase lunch at the Donovan Student Center (3 min walk from Nazarian Center on the RI College campus - accompanied by faculty members or student-assistant).  Participants with food allergies are strongly encouraged to bring their own lunch.

MIRIC 2020 Flute & Clarinet Summer Camp

July 7 - July 9
Tuition: $450
Enrollment limit: 20 students

A fun and intensive week led by RIC faculty members Ian Greitzer, and Mary Ellen Kregler. Classes will focus on the fundamentals of playing, as well as, repertoire preparation.

Daily sessions will run from 10-2:30, with a break for lunch at the Donovan Dining Center from 12 - 1.

The workshop participants are not required to submit audition materials. However, to receive the best experience of the program, the students are expected to be able to demonstrate proficiency in percussion and should have experience playing in an ensemble.

Lunch will NOT be provided. You may bring your own or purchase lunch at the Donovan Student Center (3 min walk from Nazarian Center on the RI College campus - accompanied by faculty members or student-assistant).  Participants with food allergies are strongly encouraged to bring their own lunch.

MIRIC 2020 Percussion Summer Camp

July 13 - July 16
Tuition: $450
Enrollment limit: 10 students

A fun and intensive week led by RIC faculty members Michael DeQuattro, and Charles Kalajian. Participants will study performance and essential percussion technique through ensemble playing and repertoire.

Daily sessions will run from 10-2:30, with a break for lunch at the Donovan Dining Center from 12 - 1.

The workshop participants are not required to submit audition materials. However, to receive the best experience of the program, the students are expected to be able to demonstrate proficiency in percussion and should have experience playing in an ensemble.
