RICochet Emergency Grant Fund

Please note that the RICochet Fund will now be awarded as part of the Student Emergency Funds, which will serve as a central application for all emergency financial assistance at Rhode Island College.

Emergency financial assistance for Rhode Island College students is funded by the RIC Alumni Association and generous donors.

Background

The Rhode Island College Alumni Association established this fund in December 1994. Its purpose is to assist students with financial emergencies so that they may remain in college and successfully graduate. Need-based grants of up to $1,000 will be made to cover such emergencies as educational expenses, health, housing, and child care. Any matriculated RIC student who is enrolled in courses and in good standing with the college may apply. Exceptions to the enrollment criteria may be made during the add/drop period to assist students with lifting a Financial Hold on their account.
