Strategy Sessions
If you’ve graduated within the past five years and are interested in finding a job, exploring new career paths or applying to graduate school, we can help. Resources are available to develop strategies and tools to secure a desired career. We can help you tailor your resume and cover letter, provide interviewing and networking tips and offer you opportunity to practice your interview skills.
Online Job Portal (Handshake)
Access to
Handshake, RIC’s online job portal continues from your student account. When organizations reach out to the college to hire RIC students and graduates or seek candidates with experience, we want them to find you! Ensure that your account is active and up to date.
If you are interested in a free Handshake account, please fill out the following form and a log in will be emailed to you by the Career Development Center. We recommend you use your personal email for your Handshake account.

Alumni have lifetime access and borrowing privileges at the James P. Adams Library. Check out books, articles, special collections and digital access to the library services.

Discounted Tickets & Special Events
Rhode Island College Alumni Association is pleased to offer a ticket discount program for Rhode Island College Alumni. RIC Alumni may purchase single tickets for any Performing Arts event at a substantial discount. Visit
www.ric.edu/pfa to check out the latest shows at Rhode Island College.
To receive your discount, simply identify yourself as an alumnus/a when purchasing your tickets by phone, (401) 456-8144, or at the box office. The alumni discount is not offered to on-line ticket purchasers.
Additionally, the Alumni Association strives to find opportunities for alumni to receive discounted tickets to other events and outings. Past collaborations include the Providence Bruins, Providence Performing Arts Center, Boston Red Soxs, local restaurants, etc. To stay up to date with discounted offers, follow our social media pages or check out the
