Background
Michael Bolger originally from Fall River MA, Received a BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase. He is a Choreographer, Dancer, and Teacher now living in Providence RI. He has been a visiting Artist creating works for Rhode Island College, Wheaton College, Salve Regina University and ST. Georges School. Mr. Bolger’s Choreography and site specific works have been commissioned by the Island Moving Company, Spindle City Ballet, Providence Ballet and Connecticut Concert Ballet. As a Dancer he continues to perform a wide range of Contemporary works with the Island Moving Company in Newport, RI, Carol Somers Dance in Boston, MA, as well as pursuing creative and performance endeavors with his partner Eva Marie Pacheco in Providence RI. Past performance credits include Underfoot Dance in New York, PHFFT! Company in France and Cadence Dance Project in Providence RI. Michael’s teaching credits span Universities, Companies and Dance Organizations. He is the Director of Dance Education for the Island Moving Company coordinating creative based programs for elementary, middle and high school students. He is currently on faulty at Providence Ballet, Roger Williams University, and RI College.
