The Tess Hoffman Scholarship was funded by a generous bequest from the estate of Dr. Tess Hoffman, long-time faculty member and co-founder of the Film Studies Program. Awarded each spring.

Talent Awards

Tuition-based financial scholarships that recognize and support new and emerging film talent. Full-time Film Studies majors and minors in good standing are eligible to apply in 1) video and/or film production; 2) screenwriting; and 3) audio production. The Director of Film Studies sends out an announcement each semester to all Film Studies majors and minors with information about the application process and deadline. A committee of Film Studies faculty members evaluates all submitted projects and determines the distribution of Talent Award monies. Awarded each semester.
