Graduate
The M.A. in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing offers graduate students the opportunity to study and to practice the craft of poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction through advanced workshops and literature courses. Small classes provide an intimate and intensive environment, ensuring extensive student-teacher contact. Under the guidance of one of four full-time faculty members, all of whom are published authors, students complete a thesis, normally a substantial manuscript of poetry, short fiction, or creative nonfiction.
