Student Accounting Association

The Student Accounting Association is a student group for accounting majors or any student interested in the accounting area. Meetings are announced as scheduled. Guest speakers are usually scheduled for each meeting in order to expose the students to all aspects of the profession. In 1991, the Accounting Association was formally chartered as a Student Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), an international organization of management accountants. Accounting students are encouraged to become student members of the IMA and to actively participate in activities of the Providence Chapter.
