Tim Hebert, CEO of Warwick-based IT company Atrion, will address 349 graduate degree candidates at RIC’s advanced degree commencement exercises. RIC will award honorary degrees to Hebert, to Peter Arpin of the Arpin International Group and Renewable Now, and to founding chair of Brown University’s Department of Dermatology Charles MacDonald, M.D.

Approximately 1,350 undergraduate students will receive degrees at RIC’s baccalaureate commencement exercises. Rhode Island storyteller Valerie Tutson will be the featured speaker and receive an honorary degree. Irene Kenny, a 100-year-old Narragansett resident and member of the Class of ‘35, will also receive an honorary degree, as will CEO and president of Taco, Inc., John Hazen White, Jr.
