PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A panel of industry experts will speak at a Green Business Forum at Rhode Island College on Wednesday, April 5, to discuss energy efficiency. The forum will run from 2-4 p.m., in Alger Hall 110, 600 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. This event is free and open to the public.
Panelists will speak about various energy efficient projects using programmatic incentives from National Grid. The programs include the Energy Efficiency Fund, the Renewable Energy Fund and bill financing incentives.
James C. Murphy, Rhode Island College sustainability coordinator, will moderate the forum and speak about recent projects at RIC – such as LED lighting in residence halls – that have been completed under National Grid programs.
RIC School of Management Dean Jefrey Mello will offer opening remarks at the forum.
Panelists will include:

· Wendy Carreiro, National Grid sales and energy efficiency analyst
· Benjamin Rivers, National Grid RI program strategy and evaluation analyst
· Marisa Albanese, National Grid manager of community and customer service management
