PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Award-winning cabaret artist Lauren Fox and company present “Laurel Canyon Folkies,” a program of music by Joni Mitchell, The Mamas & the Papas, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, The Byrds, the Eagles and Crosby, Stills & Nash and other folk singers. This performance will be held on Monday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Rhode Island College’s Sapinsley Hall, 600 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Reserved seating is $35.

Lauren Fox has been featured in several films, including “Pi,” “Noon Blue Apples,” “Revolution Summer,” “The Hammer” and “We Need to Talk About Kevin.” Her New York theater credits include “Hillbilly Women” and “GO-SEE.” She is the 2012 recipient of the MAC and Bistro Award for Debut Artist, as well as the 2013 recipient of a Nightlife Award for Outstanding Cabaret Performer.
