Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures

It is the policy of Rhode Island College to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex in the education program or activity it operates pursuant to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. The Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of student and employee complaints alleging any action that would be prohibited by Title IX, as well as a grievance process that complies with the Title IX Regulations as they pertain to formal complaints. The Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures describe the grievance procedures and grievance process, including how to report or file a complaint of sex discrimination, how to report or file a formal complaint of sexual harassment, and how the College will respond.
