Special Features of the Program
The M.Ed. in TESOL Program offers a dynamic mix of summer institutes and on-campus offerings to promote best practices in schools.
Holders of an early childhood, elementary, secondary certificate, or K-12 teaching certificate may obtain a ESL and/or Bilingual Dual Language Certification as a secondary certificate.
In addition to the M.Ed. programs, RIC offers two Certificate of Graduate Studies Prorgams (CGS) in TESOL and TESOL/Bilingual Education Concentration.

Please note that the TESOL Program accepts applications for
March 1st for fall admission and
November 1st for spring admission, but students are allowed to take up to three courses prior to matriculating into a program.

The MLL endorsement is available to both graduate and undergraduate students. As long as you have taken a general methods course you are welcome to register for the class. If you are not currently a student at RIC, you can register as a non-degree student. See more information on the MLL endorsement HERE.
