Heating, Fuel, Food Assistance:
  • Food Stamps/SNAP - income-based food assistance program falls under RI Department of Human Services
  • RI Community Action Programs - Heating and Fuel Assistance Programs (LIHEAP); clothing and furniture banks
  • SafeLink Wireless - a Lifeline supported service and a government program for free cell phone services (limited minutes/texts) for Medicaid/SNAP recipients. May use your own phone or apply for a phone through the program
