RI Early Intervention Certificate Program

Rhode Island's Early Intervention Certificate Program was created to recognize, and systematically enhance the skills of Level 1 candidates. Successful completion of this program results in promotion to Level II status. The success of the Certificate program has increased the capacity of our workforce and strengthened our Early Intervention system. The Certificate advisory and approval process is overseen by the Early Intervention Technical Assistance Coordinator and the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities.

Graduates of the Certification Program

Congratulations to Kaila Palumbo from Trudeau's Early Intervention Program. Kaila received her Certificate early spring of this year. She is joined by Susan Quinn, her program advisor and Supervisor at Trudeau and Pat Maris, Director of Trudeau Early Intervention.

Alyssa Parlee from Community Care Alliance, formerly Family Resource Community Action, graduated the certificate program in April 2015. Pictured with Darlene Magaw, Family Support Director and Linda Majewski, Early Intervention Supervisor.

Jamie, a service coordinator with Hasbro Early Intervention, has worked in Early Intervention almost four years and completed the certificate program in June 2014. Pictured with Jamie are Hasbro EI colleagues Judith Dixon, Clinical Supervisor, Melissa Maguire, Clinical Supervisor, Mary Founier, Director, and Abby Marino, RIPIN Parent Consultant.

Allison McDonald, a service coordinator with the Trudeau Center, was the first graduate of the program in May 2014. Allison, pictured with Ernie Van Deusen, Director, and Susan Quinn, Supervisor, Trudeau Center Early Intervention Program, has worked in Early Intervention (EI) since 2006.
