Apply for Housing

New students who are accepted and enrolled at the College by the deadlines established by the Admissions Office are eligible for on-campus housing. All students who live on campus must have a meal plan. Click here to see all of the meal plans offered through College Dining Services.

Incoming New Student

The Office of Residential Life and Housing is happy that you are interested in becoming part of our community. Once you have paid your $200 enrollment deposit through Admissions, you may access this link to secure a place on campus for the Fall 2020 semester.

You must first make a $200 non-refundable housing deposit by clicking HERE (or copy and paste link into the address line: http://www.ric.edu/bursar/Pages/Payment-Information.aspx) which will take you to instructions on how to use MyRIC to pay your tuition & housing deposit.  

The deposit can take up to 5 business days to be confirmed. If it is after June 1st, please continue your application process by electronically signing your housing contract and filling out the Roommate Questionnaire

Your deposit must be confirmed before this link will be available. Log-in the MyRIC system, under Student Links, Click Adirondack (Student Housing), click the LEFT login button under Apply Online to electronically sign the housing contract and complete Roommate Questionnaire. For additional assistance, please download step-by-step instructions.

Please note:  All residents must sign their contract electronically by clicking agree and filling out the questionnaire. Questionnaire answers are be used to best match roommates.

If you are requesting a housing assignment accommodation, please review Rhode Island College's policy at this webpage.  All housing accommodations must be submitted to Disability Services for approval. 

Incoming Transfer Student

The Office of Residential Life & Housing makes every effort to offer housing to those students who are interested in living on campus. By returning your housing interest card to the Office of Admission, your name will be passed on to the Office of Residential Life & Housing once you are a fully matriculated RIC student.

On-campus housing is open to all interested graduate students who wish to reside in a residence hall. Interested graduate students can sign-up with the Office of Residential Life and Housing (401) 456-8240 or email housing@ric.edu.

Current RIC Student

On-campus housing is open to all interested students who wish to reside in a residence hall. Interested students can sign-up with the Office of Residential Life and Housing (401) 456-8240 or email housing@ric.edu​.

Current RIC students that pay their $200 housing deposit by May 8th will be considered for the first round of room selection. Deposits paid after these deadlines will be accepted only if space is available.
