Have you had an internship, clinical or other beyond the classroom work experience?
I shadowed a physical therapist at Foundation Performance for one of my classes. I was able to learn about different techniques and field tests they do to treat and heal patients. I was also able to observe and help some patients with the stretches they were assigned to do. The company consisted of three different female physical therapists, which was also very encouraging as I am working to get that degree.

Are there any community service activities you've enjoyed being involved in?
We volunteer in after school programs near RIC and hang out with the kids there. We play sports, color, help with homework, and they get to ask us any questions they have. It's cool to see how excited they get when we come to visit.

What were you able to do that helped you get through the quarantine period earlier this year?
I exercised a lot to keep busy throughout quarantine, and I bought a new camera and picked up taking pictures as a hobby.

What are your career plans after college?
After I graduate from Rhode Island College, I plan to finish my last prerequisites for physical therapy programs and apply to graduate school for physical therapy. I hope to get accepted to the program at the University of Rhode Island.
