Background

Susan Rodgers is an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at Rhode Island College where she also teaches Opera Workshop and class voice. She has sung leading roles with Goldovsky Opera, Pittsburgh Opera Theater, Baton Rouge Opera, Washington Civic Opera, Southern Regional Opera, Atlanta Lyric Opera, Opera Ensemble of New York and Ocean State Light Opera.

She has appeared as soloist with Savannah Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, Princeton Pro-Musica, Rhode Island Civic Chorale, Providence Gay Men's Chorus, Indian Hill Symphony, and the Harvard Messiah Sing.

Susan also teaches voice at Community College of Rhode Island and Providence Coolege, and is contralto soloist at St Martin's Church in Providence. Reecently, she was chosen to appear in Who's Who Among America's Teachers, 2002. ​​
