Research

My publications focus on the intersections of aesthetics and politics in 19th and 20th century Portuguese, African and Brazilian Literatures. My current research projects and publications include Portuguese-American literature and culture; Pedagogy and politics of ethnic studies in the US and Canada; Portuguese language education; Civic organizations and Immigrant commons.
