Grant Accounting
Grant Accounting provides post award administration of projects and programs funded from sources outside the College. Throughout the life of the award, Grant Accounting staff provides assistance to faculty and staff in managing sponsored awards which includes grants and contracts. The Grant Accounting team provides guidance to assure proper stewardship of funds that are received and works closely with faculty and staff to ensure financial compliance and proper accounting of externally sponsored funds. Grant Accounting’s financial management responsibilities include cash management, financial reporting, and award closeout. Non-financial post-award changes, such as no-cost extensions, re-budgeting and award transfers, are managed by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP).
