Research

Andrew Cate is currently working on an animated television series titled Zombie Dad, for which he is the lead writer. The project is currently in pre-production in Toronto, Canada and begins production in full this winter. He is also writing for a live-action children's television series called The Qwiggle Club, which centers on a group of high school students who team up with their robot creation to solve various mysteries. In addition to writing for television, Andrew is always working on various feature-length film screenplays and is currently working on a story about Richard Aoki, a Japanese-American who became one of the earliest members of the Black Panther Party. Andrew is also currently in production on a documentary about filmmaker Kyle Cerilli, a classmate and friend of Andrew's during his undergraduate studies at Rhode Island College who fought a life-long battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. ​
