Evaluation of the Student Teaching Experience

The FSEHD student teaching handbook is designed to help guide FSEHD student teachers through the process and policy of student teaching. However, the student teaching experience and the growth towards readiness depends on a number of factors, including the nature of the student teaching site, the effectiveness of the mentors, both the cooperating teacher (CT: AKA the clinical supervisor) and the college supervisor (CS). In addition, the overall program previous to student teaching performance task should also contributes to readiness for the work in preparing the teacher candidate (TC) for the planning and execution of effective lessons and classroom management. FSEHD uses a battery of surveys to evaluate these factors. The surveys and results can be found below and results can be found here.
