Rhode Island Alpha Chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon

Rhode Island College's chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international computing honor society is a collaboration between the Computer Science (CS) and Computing and Information Sciences (CIS) programs. It is the first chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon in the state, and it inducted its first members in 2011.

Student members must:

  • Be a CS or CIS major at Rhode Island College
  • Have taken at least 45 credits, including 15 credits in the major
  • Be in at least the top 30% of students with the required number of credits, and
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.0, both overall and in their major.
