Lindsay Suls

Lindsay is a pre-doctoral intern and a 5th year clinical psychology doctoral student at William James College. She is excited and honored to be a member of the RIC Counseling Center this year. She originally from Maryland and graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in psychology. Lindsay has previous experience working in college counseling centers, therapeutic day schools, community mental health clinics, and inpatient hospitals conducting individual therapy, group therapy, and psychological assessments. She utilizes a person-centered, relational approach in her work with clients. She hopes to create a safe space where students can explore various aspects of their life in a healthy and personally fulfilling manner. Lindsay’s research and clinical interests include grief, resilience, identity exploration, and interpersonal relationships. Her most recent research project explored the use of memorial tattoos in grief recovery.​
