The Cooperative Preschool is a student organization under the auspices of Student Community Government. The co-op provides high quality and affordable childcare to the Rhode Island College community through cooperative participation of parents. Parents are involved with their children’s education and have greater control of the kind and quality of care their child receives.
The co-op is open Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Use of the co-op’s facilities is limited to those hours during which the parent is in class or fulfilling a class obligation. The co-op follows the same
academic calendar as the college.
